German Quartet Win Stuttgart Spots

TOMAS SEYLER, Andree Welge, Kevin Munch and Maik Langendorf are the four Home Nation Qualifiers for the German Darts Masters.

The quartet won through Friday night's qualifying event for Germans to secure their places in the £82,100 tournament at the Glaspalast in Sindelfingen, Stuttgart from September 7-9.

Langendorf showed some impressive form to qualify for his second successive European Tour event, defeating Jyhan Artut and Michael Rosenauer to progress.

World Championship qualifier Munch (pictured) was a 6-5 winner against youngster Max Hopp in their deciding game, while Seyler whitewashed Michael Uxa before defeating Mick Hasse.

Welge, meanwhile, had a tough assignment with three games but defeated Stefan Schaffer, Wolfgang Henn and Tobias Hontsch to earn his place in Stuttgart.

The quartet join the 20 UK Qualifiers in winning places in the tournament alongside 32 top players, with the field completed by eight European Qualifiers to come from Saturday's knockout in Germany.
