Play-Offs Chance For Armed Forces

HUNDREDS of tickets for the Betway Premier League Darts Play-Offs have been donated to national charity Tickets For Troops to mark the 100th anniversary of World War One.

Darts' biggest roadshow event will culminate at The O2 on Thursday May 22, with the top four players following the 15-week league season competing in the Play-Offs for the prestigious trophy.

Her Majesty's servicemen and women from across the UK will get the opportunity to watch the semi-finals and finals and have the potential to see four of the biggest names in darts in action, with Michael van Gerwen, Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, Peter Wright, Adrian Lewis, Gary Anderson and Dave Chisnall currently battling for Play-Off places.

Lord Marland, Chairman of Tickets For Troops said: "This is a significant year for our UK Armed Forces, as we remember the 100th Anniversary of World War One and we are hugely grateful to the Professional Darts Corporation for supporting the troops and our charity yet again."

The PDC has previously supplied tickets for the World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace for Tickets For Troops, and PDC Chairman Barry Hearn said: "This is a tremendous campaign, and takes on added significance this year.

"We're delighted to be able to assist Tickets For Troops, and hope that those lucky enough to see the Betway Premier League Play-Offs enjoy a fantastic evening."
