THE final PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour weekend of 2016 will take place on September 10-11, as PDPA Associate Members compete in Events 13-16 at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.
Three double-header weekends have already taken place in 2016, with the final four tournaments set to be held in Wigan as players compete for the chance to win a PDC Tour Card.
The top two players from the final Challenge Tour Order of Merit will earn a two-year PDC Tour Card for 2017-18, with each tournament over the weekend in Wigan offering a £2,000 first prize.
Currently, Rob Cross (£5,100) and Ryan Searle (£4,650) occupy the top two places on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, but with five other players - Barry Lynn, Adam Hunt, Mark Dudbridge, Nick Fullwell and Bryan de Hoog - within £1,500 prize money.
Entry to PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour events is open to PDPA Associate Members, who must enter before 2pm on Friday September 9 via the PDC Online Entry System.
