Anderson Is Coral's New Favourite

Gary Anderson - Coral UK Open (Chris Dean, PDC)

GARY ANDERSON is the 7/4 favourite to win the Coral UK Open on Sunday night following the confirmation of the quarter-final line-up in Minehead.

Anderson is bidding to scoop the £70,000 title at the Butlin's Minehead Resort on Sunday night, after progressing past Robert Rickwood, Ricky Evans and Jermaine Wattimena so far this weekend.

The Scot enters the final day as the 7/4 favourite with sponsors Coral, as he prepares to meet World Champion Rob Cross - the 2/1 second favourite - in the quarter-finals.

Australian debutant Corey Cadby, the former World Youth Champion, is rated at 11/2 to claim the title on Sunday night, with his quarter-final opponent Gerwyn Price - the 2017 finalist - installed at 8/1 to win his first TV title.

Three other players are also bidding to claim their first TV title, with Steve West (16/1), David Pallett (20/1) and Robert Owen (25/1) in the quarter-finals for the first time on the big stage.

Three-time World Champion John Part is the 33/1 outsider going into the final day after rolling back the years in Minehead with five wins so far this weekend to reach his first individual TV quarter-final since 2012.
