THE draw for the first two rounds of the 2006 Budweiser UK Open, with the tournament beginning on Friday 9 June at Bolton's Reebok Stadium.
Arguably the highlight of the opening night will be the clash on the main stage between former World Champions Keith Deller and Steve Beaton in Round Two.
2004 UK Open Champion Roland Scholten, the highest player in the world rankings not to be seeded through to the third round, will meet Vic Hubbard as he begins his challenge for the title.
Legendary figure Cliff Lazarenko returns to the big stage for his Round One clash with two-time World Grand Prix finalist Shayne Burgess in one of the early highlights.
Local favourites Steve Coote and Paul Williams, who are both from Bolton, will also be in action on the main stage on the opening night.
The players ranked 65-96, plus ties, from the Order of Merit compiled after eight Regional Finals join the 32 Greene King Qualifiers in the First Round.
The winners will join the players ranked 33-64 in Round Two on Friday, with the top 32 coming in on Saturday afternoon at the Third Round stage.
