SHANE TICHOWITSCH and Barry Jouannet shared the honours at the Goulburn Workers Club Open over the weekend.
Tichowitsch claimed victory in Saturday's tournament with a 6-2 defeat of Rob Modra in the final.
In the knockout stage of the event, he was a 6-1 winner against both Michael Franklin and Rod Neeson before overcoming Jouannet 6-2 in the semis.
Left-hander Jouannet, though, avenged that to win Sunday's final by the same scoreline and take the $1,000 title, and was imperious form by dropping only four legs in his wins over Rod Crawford, Rod Neeson and Brendon McCausland in reaching the decider.
Youngster Mitchell Clegg continued his good form by reaching the quarter-finals on both days, while Bill Stanley reached Saturday's semis.
Modra's run to the final on Saturday and semi-finals on Sunday ensured he remains above Tichowitsch at the head of the DPA Australian Grand Prix Order of Merit.
