THE Eastern European Qualifier for the 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship will be held in Prague on Friday 2 November and is open to players from 14 countries.
For the first time, a qualifier from Eastern Europe will compete in the World Championship, entering the Preliminary Round this December.
The winner of the qualifier will win a place at Alexandra Palace, with guaranteed minimum prize money of £2,500 plus 300 euro towards travel expenses. The runner-up will receive a 200 Euro prize.
Players who are residents in the following countries will be able to enter at a cost of 30 Euros:

Hungary
Slovakia
Poland
Latvia
Lithuania
Estonia
Ukraine
Croatia
Slovenia
Serbia
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Romania
Bulgaria

The closing date for entries is Monday 1 October and entry is limited to 128 players.
The format will be the best of nine legs up and including the quarter-finals, with the semi-finals being the best of 11 legs and the final being best of 13 legs.
