Menace Back In Action

DENNIS PRIESTLEY is to make his return to action next week when the PDC Pro Tour heads to Wigan.

Priestley has not played since undergoing surgery for prostate cancer in January after the Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Championship.

The two-time World Champion has made a strong recovery over the past two months and is among almost 200 players who will compete at the Robin Park Arena.

Phil Taylor and World Champion John Part are also in action in the events, along with world number three James Wade.

Saturday's Players Championship will include 178 players, with 197 competitors in action on Sunday in the Blue Square UK Open North-West Regional Final.

Both events will begin at 11am, with play on Sunday streamed live online from the quarter-finals onwards via www.bluesquare.com and www.bet365.com from 4pm.

Admission to the general public is free on Saturday, and on Sunday will be from 3.30pm with admission priced at £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for under-16s. Under-11s will not be admitted to either event.

The tournament draws will be made on Thursday 13 March and posted on PlanetDarts later that day.
