Pardy To Represent Canada

CINDY PARDY is the Canadian Qualifier for the last 32 of the PDC Unicorn Women's World Championship.

The 24-year-old from Calgary will join US Qualifier Stacy Bromberg in heading across the Atlantic to compete on Saturday June 12 in the last 32 of the £30,000 tournament.

Play at the Barnsley Metrodome will see the ladies battle down to the final, which will then be played in Blackpool on Sunday July 25 ahead of the StanJames World Matchplay final, live on Sky Sports.

Pardy won the Canadian Qualifier, which was held in Quebec on Saturday as part of the weekend's play in the Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Tournament.

The weekend in Quebec was a successful one for Cindy, who also won the Le Skratch Sarantos Retsinas Memorial Ladies Singles and Doubles events.

Pardy is the current Canadian number one and is the reigning Canadian National Champion who also won the 2010 Vancouver Open.
