PDC Team Remain Unbeaten

A PDC representative team has reached the semi-finals of the Linddales Super Fours.

The four PDC stars, Terry Jenkins, Robert Thornton, Denis Ovens and Mark Webster, remained unbeaten on Friday in the final three rounds of games at the Coogee Bay Hotel.

After winning all four matches - each featuring 11 games in total - on Thursday convincingly, they opened Friday with an 8-3 victory against Queensland.

That would prove their toughest test, as they finished the tournament with 10-1 defeats of New South Wales and New Zealand.

Wins for the Kiwis earlier in the day, against Victoria and a South Australia/Northern Territory side, meant they finished second, ahead of Queensland.

New South Wales ended in fourth place, ahead of the SA/NT side on games won, and will take on the PDC team in the semi-finals on Saturday.

New Zealand, starring in-form Phillip Hazel and former national champions Warren French and Warren Parry, face the Queensland side, which features Simon Whitlock, in the other semi.
