THE eagerly-anticipated release of PDC World Championship Darts 2008 on Wii on Friday has seen some retailers already sold out of the game.
The game was released on PlayStation®2 and PC last month, and entered a new world with it's release on Wii™.
After 'Going Gold' in the pre-sale charts, the game proved so popular on its release on Friday that several retailers are already sold out of PDC World Championship Darts 2008.
"We knew demand for PDC World Championship Darts 2008 on Wii would be high given it's a perfect fit for the console, but the level of pre-orders and sales has even exceeded our expectations" explained Jim Scott, CEO of Oxygen Games.
