COLIN LLOYD, Raymond van Barneveld, Roland Scholten and Phil Taylor opened the second round of the Topic International Darts League with wins on Tuesday night.
The quartet all put themselves a step closer to qualifying for Friday's quarter-finals with the triumphs.
Van Barneveld overcame Baxter 7-5 in a tight contest, while fellow Group I member Roland Scholten defeated Paul Hogan 7-4.
Colin Lloyd and Phil Taylor both began their challenge in Group J with wins over Jelle Klaasen and Shaun Greatbatch respectively.
In the game of the tournament so far, Michael van Gerwen, who won the recent Open Holland, defeated Martin Adams 7-6.
The teenage star averaged almost 108 in the match, coming from 6-5 down to snatch the win with a 164 finish to cap an outstanding display.
