Taylor Takes Irish Players Championship Crown

PHIL TAYLOR won his 13th PDC Pro Tour title of 2008 with victory over James Wade in Saturday's Irish Players Championship.

Taylor came from 2-1 down in the final to claim the £5,000 first prize.

Wade took out legs of 11 and 12 darts in winning the first set, but eventually fell victim to Taylor once more in a final, with the Stoke man wrapping up victory with a ten-darter.

Final
Phil Taylor takes another crown, but is forced to fight all the way by Wade, who won the first and third sets 2-1. Taylor won the other three in straight legs to take the £5,000 first prize.
