JAMES WADE admits that Thursday's Whyte & Mackay Premier League Darts clash with John Part is a revenge mission.
Wade was knocked out of the Ladbrokes.com PDC World Darts Championship by Part six weeks ago, with the Canadian moving on from a 5-4 quarter-final win to take the Alexandra Palace title.
However, the 24-year-old has made a superb start to the Premier League Darts, opening with two wins and a draw, and is looking to continue that form against Part in Coventry.
"I'll be ready for him!" said Wade.
"He's a fantastic dart player and if I'm not at my best I won't win - but I owe him one from the World Championship."
Wade drew with Adrian Lewis in Manchester last week, but felt he can build on his performance after "scratching out" a result against his fellow young gun.
"I'm starting to feel fluent again and it feels good," he said. "I believe I'm not far off playing my best darts again, but I won't know that until it actually happens.
"It's all a learning curve for me and that's perhaps an advantage in the Premier League.
"I was over the moon with a point against Adrian because I scratched a result out of nothing and I'll take it.
"It was very frustrating and I struggled to get into the game, but I'll take a lot out of the game."
