PHIL TAYLOR won the News of the World title for the only time when the tournament was resurrected in 1997 - watch the final in DartsTV.
The prestigious event was brought back, after a seven-year absence, at Aston Villa FC and saw Taylor become the 22nd and final champion.
He overcame Runcorn roofer Ian White in the best-of-three leg final.
