Alexander Merkx and Andreas Harryson picked up Winmau Challenge Tour titles on the penultimate day of action in 2024.

Danny van Trijp secured his maiden Winmau Challenge Tour title of 2025 on Saturday, as Stefan Bellmont rose to second in the Order of Merit with his second title of the year.

The year's third weekend of Challenge Tour action continued with a bumper double-header in Milton Keynes, as over 220 players competed across the course of the day.

Van Trijp kicked off Saturday's action with victory in Event 13, sealed with a 5-2 win over Graham Hall in the final.

The Dutchman defeated Ultan McDyer 5-3 in his opening game, and edged past Scott Campbell 5-4.

Van Trijp then defeated former World Cup winner John Henderson, before reeling off four straight legs to complete a 5-4 comeback win against Daniel Perry.

The 28-year-old survived two match darts in another 5-4 win, this time over Oliver Mueller, and overcame Shaun Carroll to book his place in the semi-finals.

Van Trijp produced another comeback to defeat Ted Evetts 5-4, winning three straight legs from 4-2 down including his fourth last-leg decider of Event 13, to make the final.

The title decider proved to be van Trijp’s most comfortable win, defeating Hall 5-2 to win his first Challenge Tour since July 2022.

Hall, who was also runner-up in Friday's Event 12, produced a career-high 117.42 average in his second-round whitewash demolition of Steven Harbert.

In Event 14, it was Bellmont who won his second Challenge Tour title of 2025, defeating Keegan Brown 5-3 in the final.

The 36-year-old began with a 5-2 win over Ricky Palmer, followed by a 5-0 whitewash victory over Andy Hamilton.

Bellmont then secured consecutive 5-2 wins over Michael Huntley, Martin Thomas, and Jimmy van Schie to reach the quarter-finals.

The Swiss star dispatched Charlie Martin 5-1 before winning a last-leg decider against the throw to defeat Jack Tweddell 5-4 and reach his third Challenge Tour final of 2025.

Bellmont then produced another 5-2 win, this time over Brown, to secure the Event 14 title, and now moves up to second on the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, just £550 behind Darius Labanauskas.

Former World Youth Champion Brown was denied his first Challenge Tour title since August 2022, losing his second final in 2025 as he bids to return to the winner's circle.

The 2025 Winmau Challenge Tour continues with Event 15 in Milton Keynes on Sunday May 4, with £15,000 in prize money on offer in the final event of the weekend.

The top two players from the final 2025 Challenge Tour Order of Merit will secure a PDC Tour Card for 2026/27 and a place in the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

With ten events left this year, Lithuania's Labanauskas remains on top of the Challenge Tour Order of Merit, despite Bellmont closing in after moving up to second.

Evetts, Beau Greaves and Mervyn King round out the top five and Event 13 winner van Trijp moves up to seventh.
