Premier League Darts Ticket Update

TICKETS for the 2014 Premier League Darts have enjoyed record early sales, with over half of all available tickets snapped up and Aberdeen's GE Oil & Gas Arena already sold out for next year's event.

The 2014 Premier League Darts will take place across 16 successive Thursdays from February-May next year, with ten players competing in the sport's widest-reaching tournament in arenas across the UK & Ireland.

Despite heavy competition from Bournemouth's BIC and the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, the GE Oil & Gas Arena in Aberdeen has become the first of the 16 venues to post sold-out signs for the tournament.

Belfast's Odyssey Arena, The Brighton Centre and the Echo Arena in Liverpool, which hosts the opening night on Thursday February 6, have reported record demand for tickets, while over 4,000 tickets for the event's debut at the new First Direct Arena in Leeds have already sold.

"We've seen amazing demand for Premier League Darts tickets since they went on general sale a fortnight ago, and it's no surprise that we're already seeing sold-out signs being posted," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.

"With over half of the 100,000 available tickets having been snapped up, we're on course to enjoy record crowds in 2014 for what promises to be a brilliant four months of darts."

The ten players who will compete in the 2014 Premier League Darts will be confirmed in January, with the top four players from the PDC Order of Merit following the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship joined by six Wildcard selections.

The ten stars will face each other once over the first nine weeks, before the bottom two players in the league table are eliminated. The remaining eight stars will meet each other once more in the remaining six weeks, before the top four progress to the Play-Offs at The O2 in London on May 22.

Tickets are priced as follows for all nights except Dublin:
Front Table Seating: £40
Other Table Seating: £35 (all venues except Bournemouth & Leeds)
Tiered Seating & Family Enclosure: £20

Tickets for The O2 in Dublin on Thursday April 18 are priced as follows:
Table Seating: €45
Tiered Seating & Family Enclosure: €25

All tickets may be subject to booking fees. Tickets are limited to six per person per night for Table Seating (eight per person for Table Seating in Belfast) and there is no limit on Tiered Seating.
