Lewis Hits Jackpot In New Rankings!

THE official PDC world rankings have been updated following the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship, confirming the 16 players who will compete in the World Series of Darts in May.

Phil Taylor remains hot on the heels of world number one Colin Lloyd after picking up 50 points along with his 13th World Championship title on Monday.

Beaten finalist Peter Manley moves up to fifth, level on points with Wayne Mardle, who lost to Taylor in the semi-finals.

Adrian Lewis' run to the quarter-finals has seen him jump from 20th to 16th in the rankings, meaning that he takes the 16th and final PDC place in the World Series of Darts.

The PDC's top 16 will face 16 American qualifiers at the Mohegan Sun Casino from 19-21 May.

The US competitors could include John Kuczynski, whose Purfleet displays have lifted him into the world's top 100.

Darin Young, who lost to Mark Dudbridge in round one, also moved up to 92nd place in the rankings.
