THE PartyPoker.com Grand Slam of Darts looks set for bumper crowds this November following record ticket sales for the Wolverhampton Civic event.
Tickets went on general sale on Monday for the tournament, which is held from November 14-22 and features 32 top darts stars.
The Wolves Civic Box Office has seen unprecedented demand for tickets throughout the week, with over 6,000 snapped up by hungry darts fans.
Only a limited number of balcony seats remain for the opening night on Saturday November 14, which is heading for a sell-out as the opening eight group stage games are played.
Both sessions on Sunday November 15 have seen such demand that balcony seats are now available, while Friday November 20th is close to selling out.
Tickets for the quarter-finals on Saturday, across two sessions, are also proving popular, and the balcony has been opened for the final on Sunday evening.

"This tournament has grown significantly in the past two years and these sales are an indication of the value for money fans receive at the Grand Slam, an event packed full of champions.
"After breaking through £500,000 in ticket sales for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship recently, this is another huge boost for the sport."
Tickets are priced at £15 (floor) and £10 (balcony) for Saturday November 14-Wednesday November 18, with prices rising to £35/£30 for the final on Sunday November 22.
