Gray Releases 2009 Calendar

ADRIAN GRAY will enter 2009 in style - after launching his own calendar.

The 27-year-old from Sussex has released the 2009 calendar for sale during the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship in an attempt to raise his own profile as well as that of the sport.

Gray, regarded as one of the new breed of darts stars who would not look out of place in a boy band, stars in a series of stylish poses for the calendar.

"It rings with the new image of darts," he said. "I want to play a big part in the future of darts and hopefully this is a part of it.

"A family member took the pictures and it's just a series of poses, nothing over the top. It's been well-received so far and I'd like to think it will sell well!"

While Gray himself suffered a first round loss at Alexandra Palace, his calendar will remain at the World Championship on sale via the PDC merchandise stall.

Fans can also order a copy via Adrian's official website.
