Beau Greaves celebrated back-to-back PDC Women’s Series titles in Milton Keynes on Saturday, extending her astonishing haul of Women’s Series titles to 36 in the space of three years.
Following a two-month hiatus, the Women’s Series season resumed with Events 13-14 at Arena MK, and it was normal service resumed for an unstoppable Greaves.
The two-time Women’s World Matchplay champion – also the Event 12 winner in April – increased her stunning winning run on the Women’s Series to 20 matches with another brace of titles.
Following routine wins over Jo Andrews and Jade Gofford, Greaves overturned an early 2-1 deficit against Sweden’s Vicky Pruim to reach the last 16, where she whitewashed Paula Jacklin.
The 21-year-old then averaged almost 99 to win through a high-quality quarter-final against Noa-Lynn van Leuven, before closing out a 5-2 victory against Gemma Hayter in the semi-finals.
This set up a showdown against her great rival Fallon Sherrock in the Event 13 showpiece, and a superb 11-darter in leg seven saw Greaves run out a resounding winner.
Greaves doubled her Saturday tally with Event 14 glory, overturning a 3-1 deficit to deny Lorraine Winstanley to triumph in their winner-takes-all showdown.
The Doncaster superstar had eased past Jane Biggs, Lauryn Salter, Juliane Birchall and Debra Watling to book her place in the quarter-finals, where she defeated Lancashire veteran Lisa Ashton 5-2.
Greaves then dumped out Hayter in the semi-finals for the second successive event, reeling off five consecutive legs on her way to completing a clean sweep in Milton Keynes.
However, she was forced to recover from a sluggish start to topple Winstanley, producing a three-leg burst midway through proceedings to turn the contest on its head.
This weekend’s action continues with Events 15-16 on Sunday, as the race for Betfred Women’s World Matchplay qualification reaches its climax.
The top eight players on the 12-month rolling Order of Merit following Event 16 will also qualify for next month’s showpiece, which will take place at the Winter Gardens on Sunday July 27.
Winstanley’s run to the Event 14 decider has catapulted her up to seventh place in the race for Blackpool, with Finland’s Kirsi Viinikainen provisionally occupying the eighth and final spot.
The top two players from the final PDC Women's Series Order of Merit will also qualify to compete in the 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship.
Greaves and Sherrock are currently in pole position to return to Alexandra Palace, and the pair will headline Sunday’s double-header, which will be broadcast live on PDCTV from approximately 1000 BST.
PDCTV subscription options will include Event Pass and Day Pass packages, as well as Annual and Monthly Subscriptions.
