The PDC Unicorn Development Tour allows players aged 16-23 the chance to compete in a series of 20 tournaments throughout 2019.

Tournaments will be held over five double-header weekends, which each feature four events as two are held per day.

The Development Tour season concludes with the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship, with qualifiers from the Development Tour Order of Merit joined by international qualifiers in competing in that event.

Luke Humphries and Ted Evetts both picked up titles on Saturday as the Unicorn Development Tour saw the 17th and 18th events of the year take place in Wigan.

The fifth Development Tour weekend of the year saw over 220 players enter the two events on the Saturday with places at Alexandra Palace for the World Championship up for grabs.

Luke Humphries secured a 5-3 win over Ted Evetts in the final over event 17 to claim a remarkable tenth Development Tour crown of his career.

The 24-year-old overcame Lewis Pride 4-2 in the last 16, before wins over Development Tour 15 winner Geert Nentjes and then a 5-2 win over Ben Cheeseman secured his spot in the final.

Event 18 saw Ted Evetts, the runner-up in the previous event continue his incredible record of winning a Development Tour title on each day he has entered this year by beating Greg Ritchie in a last leg decider.

A 4-3 win over Danny van Trijp saw Evetts progress into the quarter-finals where he defeated Kevin Doets 5-1.

Another 5-1 victory, this time over Mike van Duivenbode meant Evetts would play yet another Development Tour final, where he would go on to claim the title against Greg Ritchie.

Event 18 also saw teenager James Beeton land a nine-dart finish during his 4-3 win over Dan Read in the Last 16.

The 2019 Unicorn Development Tour will conclude on Sunday with two players claiming spots at the World Championship.
