RYAN MEIKLE and Ted Evetts shared victories as the third PDC Unicorn Development Tour weekend of 2018 concluded at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan on Sunday.

Nathan Rafferty clinched his third Winmau Development Tour title of 2022 with victory over Kevin Doets on Sunday, capping off the latest weekend of action in Germany.

Rafferty claimed the £2,000 top prize with a convincing 5-2 success in the Event 20 final, as he celebrates landing the seventh Development Tour title of his fledgling career.

Rafferty and Doets shared the opening four legs of Sunday’s showpiece, before the Northern Irishman followed up a brilliant 11-darter with finishes of 115 and 78 to triumph in Hildesheim.

The 22-year-old survived a match dart in his opening round tie against Gillian Koehoorn, recovering from 3-1 down to progress, before easing past Henry Coates and former World Youth finalist Adam Gawlas.

Rafferty followed up a whitewash win over Dutch star Justin van Tergouw by overcoming David Zaruba and Lewis Gurney, before denying Geert Nentjes in a compelling semi-final tussle.

Doets was condemned to his second consecutive defeat in a final after succumbing to Lewy Williams in Event 19, although he gained revenge with a 5-3 win over the Welshman in Sunday's semi-finals.

The Dutchman also averaged 101 in a whitewash win over Cam Crabtree, before seeing off Josh Rock’s conqueror Ole Holtkamp in the quarter-finals.

Rock - who claimed a brace of titles on Friday - boasts a £1,150 lead at the top of the Development Tour Order of Merit, having fired in a 105.47 average before losing out to Holtkamp in the last 32.

Rafferty has leapfrogged UK Open semi-finalist Keane Barry into second place, with Event 19 winner Williams sandwiched between Dutch duo Nentjes and Doets, who sit fourth and sixth respectively.
